A lot of bloggers have heard about Entrecard. Some of you probably haven't.
You can see that I have their widget on my site. I am under no obligation to blog about them, but I do it out of courtesy because quite frankly they are a good service and deliver exactly what they say they will.
Also they are free. Yep, you heard it 100% free - so long as you count free in terms of not having to pay a single cent to use the service.
The drawback? Well, if you consider it a drawback then yes you only get out of Entrecard what you put into it. You earn credits by visiting other blogs. You click on their widget, meet some cyberfolks and move on with your life.
In return other cyberfolks come and visit you, click on your widget and see what's up in your part of cyberspace.
So does it work? Is it effective?
If I didn't like them I wouldn't use them. If I didn't like them I wouldn't have the widget. Its that simply.
So, can you trust someone who spends their time blogging about cheating?
Um, sure you can.

Off Topic - The Widgeteers Free Traffic to Your Site or Blog
If you have a blog, then I recommend that you join up with The Widgeteers. Why?
Well first and foremost because by referring you I get a benefit.
But just in case you aren't out to serve my purposes and you have some ambition to help yourself, then you may just want to do it because its free and it is a free hands off way of building a bit of traffic for yourself.
Everyone wants traffic. Everyone needs traffic. Everyone likes traffic. The Widgeteers can help you get that traffic (and did I mention its free?)
Yes there are paid options with The Widgeteers (they have to make money somehow), but who want to pay? Ok, if you are serious about getting some traffic you might want to. But if you are more or less like the rest of us cheap skates out there then just doing it because it is free is reason enough.
You make a widget. You make some ads. (Takes about a minute to do). And then you walk away. You don't have to do anything else ever.
No clicking on other people's sites you aren't interested in. No jumping through pointless hoops. No reading spam. Just go on about your life.
If you feel like promoting it then promote it. If you feel like referring people then refer them. If not, no worries. Just go about your merry way and let the widget do its own thing.
